Restricted Storage Items
The following items are prohibited by law (Menlo Park Fire Department) from being stored at Menlo-Atherton Storage (“MAS”), no matter what size or quantity:

Unstable Materials |
Flammable Solids |
Corrosives |
Oxidizing Materials |
Organic Peroxides |
Nitro Methane |
Ammonium Nitrates |
Highly Toxic Materials |
Poisonous Gases |
Matches |
Explosives |
Insecticides |
Acids |
Toxic Chemicals |
Flammable Fibers (Loose or Bailed) |
Gas Containers or Tanks |
Occupant agrees that the above listed materials are both dangerous and hazardous. Occupant also agrees not to store any of the above listed materials at MAS. If Occupant stores such materials at MAS, then Occupant shall immediately remove all such materials after notification by MAS. If in the sole judgment of MAS’s management it shall become necessary for MAS to remove and/or dispose of any such materials stored by Occupant, then Occupant shall pay all fees/costs, including but not limited to, labor, fines and legal fees that may be incurred by MAS. Occupant agrees not to hold MAS and/or its agents liable for the costs of Occupant’s materials or the disposing of any such materials.
If Occupant should have any questions regarding what types of materials/goods may be stored at the MAS facility, then Occupant shall first contact MAS's staff before storing any questionable materials/goods. Occupant may also contact Menlo Park's Fire Protection District at (650 ) 323-2407 for information regarding items to be stored.
MAS shall report improperly stored materials
In addition to the above restriced items, Occupant shall not store more than six (6) used tires without first receiving permission from MAS to do so. |
